Lot's of laughs on the course yesterday with David and Honored teammate Jason! David is Jason's twin brother and they love "Thomas the Train"! I am sure most 3 1/2 yr old's love that show :)
Well on about mile 4 of 6 yesterday David would yell out Chug-a-chug-a-choo-choo and then in sync both Elizabeth (TNT participant) and myself yelled out "Choo-Choo" each time we did this the kids would belly-laugh so hard! They were shocked when a bicycler passing by said "Choo, Choo" with us! Well that was a great time and sure helped pass the last two miles by very quickly. Coach Paul did a great job keeping our pace of 10:33/mile pushing the double stroller on the hills and through out the course. That was about 80lbs of weight to push and run... so way to go Coach Paul!
We had less laundry than normal... usually I do 5-6 loads and thankfully it was only 4 loads yesterday. Jeremy helped since my stomach was not 100% yesterday. I have been low energy this week and getting up in the morning is very difficult. Last night I was asleep before Jeremy got out of the shower. That is how quick I went to bed... my body says extra rest and luckily Jeremy helped with laundry so I could get that much needed sleep. By the sound of this blog, you may think I am deprived of this sleep thing... but I actually have been sleeping 8+ hours a night both Monday, Tuesday, and I am hopeful that today will be no different.
Gwynne had a test today so she studied for her exam last night instead of running with us! Boy did she miss out on the entertainment, she would have enjoyed helping us stay in tune to the "Choo, Choo" for the kids. She is hoping to hit the trails at Newport Back Bay today with Coach Paul and myself. I am hoping for a pace under 10min/mile! Wish me luck!
Every hour that goes by today, my stomach feels a little better! I pray whatever is trying to attack my body... leaves this instant!
Thank you for listening and stay tuned for more updates tomorrow!

Aww. Sounds like a missed a beautiful run! I was thinking of you...this school thing leaves me feeling burnt out! Hope you feel better...
Don't forget to stretch you muscles well since you work out so much. Stretching is a good way to avoid shin splints, strained muscles, and torn ligaments. Not to mention the tension release after a good stretch. Take 15 and give your body the stretch it deserves! See you soon...
